Suspension Limit (LZ) – an indicator for specific securities, representing the settlement suspension volume as a percentage of the volume of trading in the given securities, which cannot be higher than 10%.
If the LZ indicator is exceeded – short sale transactions in the given securities will be blocked altogether.
Individual Suspension Limit (ILZ) - an indicator for an Exchange Member, representing the settlement suspension volume of transactions concluded by the Exchange Member as a percentage of trading in the given securities, which cannot be higher than 5%.
If the ILZ indicator is exceeded – short sale transactions in the given securities will be blocked for the given Exchange Member.
If the ILZ indicator is exceeded for at least three securities during a given settlement day – short sale transactions in all securities will be blocked for the given Exchange Member (their number will be set in a Resolution of the KDPW Management Board).
