Update on KDPW Group Business Continuity procedures relating to the new SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus threat and potential cases of COVID-19 infection

Following the growing spread of the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus infection and rising number of confirmed cases of infection in Poland, we have prepared the following update on measures actively being taken by the KDPW Group (which includes KDPW S.A. and KDPW_CCP S.A.) to ensure continuity of business processes.

The KDPW Group has implemented a joint Business Continuity Plan, as a result of the very close operational relations between KDPW S.A. and KDPW_CCP S.A., and the reliance on a common IT and office infrastructure to perform its business processes.

Depending on the scale of the threat of infection from the new Coronavirus, business continuity across the services of the KDPW Group will be ensured using the following measures:
  • Core business processes will be performed using the minimal number of key staff based on dedicated procedures used in emergencies;
  • Homeworking mode for staff, using secure facilities to connect to KDPW Group IT systems;
  • The KDPW Group business recovery site located at a safe distance from the main production site, containing the necessary number of work-stations and replication of all IT systems required to ensure business continuity;
  • Transport and other facilities enabling essential relocation of personnel or delivery of equipment and hardware as well as contact with the relevant crisis management centres and other centres that can provide additional support in emergency situations.

Please note that there is no current indication that KDPW Group business continuity of core services will be disrupted in any way. At the same time, the KDPW Group is actively monitoring and assessing the on-going situation and is ready to deploy the necessary preventative measures, as required, in order to contain the risk posed by the threat from the Coronavirus infection.
