Sławomir Panasiuk - Deputy President of the Management Board of the National Depository for Securities (KDPW) and KDPW_CCP
Graduate of the Military Cybernetics Department, major in operation of computer systems; post-graduate studies in IT at the Technical Academy; and a post-graduate PhD course in Management Science at the College of Management and Finance of the Warsaw School of Economics.
He has extensive knowledge of IT and capital markets. Throughout his professional career, he has regularly completed many courses and training cycles, including in particular studies in project management, design and programming, the use of SWIFT messages in the capital market. He holds an ITIL certificate of IT infrastructure management.
Since 1999, he has been working in the National Depository for Securities (KDPW S.A.) in several positions, including Head of the IT Application System Team, Director of the IT Department, and General Director for Technology. In 2006, he was appointed to the Management Board of KDPW S.A. As a Member of the Management Board, he participated in all the major business projects of KDPW S.A. He co-ordinated the implementation of the depository-settlement system kdpw_stream, an unprecedented IT project in the Polish market in terms of the number of involved partners.
He also supervised the implementation of the integrated enterprise management system ERP. He co-ordinated corporate security initiatives, including improvement of the operational risk management model. He also supervised the development and implementation of the information security policy in compliance with international standards. He was responsible for the implementation of the electronic document flow system at KDPW S.A.
He also prepared the implementation of a new system of data exchange with brokerage houses (ESDI) and was responsible for IT development and maintenance costs in a controlling system development project.
Since 30 June 2009, he is Deputy President of the Management Board responsible for Operations, Technology and Corporate Security.
Awarded the prestigious title of CIO of the Year 2009 by the monthly CIO for the implementation of the depository-settlement system kdpw_stream. In 2011, he was awarded in the first edition of the Chief Innovation Officer – IT Innovator of the Year competition organised by PwC and the monthly Forbes for the development of the KDPW asset management system kdpw_flow.
He is Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Centrum Giełdowe S.A. and Member of the Supervisory Board of BondSpot S.A.
