The amounts, structure, and calculation methods of fees charged for the LEI registration and maintenance service are laid down in § 29 of the Rules of Registration and Maintenance of Legal Entity Identifiers by Krajowy Depozyt Papierów Wartościowych S.A.

Below are LEI registration and maintenance fees calculated under the Rules for payments in the first year of LEI validity and for multiannual payments (LEI validity from two to five years)*

* the fee calculation includes the LEI issuance/renewal fee as well as the fee paid to the GLEIF in the amount of PLN 45 net charged in Q2 2024.
The GLEIF fee is a variable fee set for each calendar quarter and published on the KDPW website not later than 14 days before the end of the calendar quarter preceding the quarter when the fee is charged. The GLEIF fee was 45 net in Q1 2024 and is 45 net in Q2 2024.

** the applicable VAT rate is 23%

KDPW charges no fees other than listed above, including any fees for LEI processing, LEI transfers or the opening and maintenance of online accounts.

Reduced fees charged to agents granted special authorisations referred to in § 5(5) of the Rules:

  • The fee, for issuance of an LEI, charged to an agent granted special authorisations, shall be reduced by a discount of 5% of the total amount of fees charged in the billing period in respect of the issuance of an LEI if the number of issued Identifiers is from 10 to 20; 7.5% if the number of issued Identifiers is from 21 to 40; 10% if the number of issued Identifiers is 41 or more.
  • The fee, for renewal of an LEI, charged to an agent granted special authorisations, shall be reduced by a discount of 5% of the total amount of fees charged in the billing period in respect of the renewal of an LEI, if the number of renewed Identifiers is from 10 to 20; 7.5% if the number of renewed Identifiers is from 21 to 40; 10% if the number of renewed Identifiers is 41 or more.
Did you know?
  • fees are charged at the date of KDPW’s approval of the LEI issuance/renewal application,
  • fees can be paid by instant bank transfer, the multicurrency online service "imoje" offered by ING Bank Śląski SA, the blik service, VISA/MASTERCARD payment cards,
  • fees are paid in PLN; but online also in other currencies,
  • the applicant receives payment details (account number, amount) by email,
  • the pro-forma invoice in a PDF file is available for download in the user’s account in the online application; after receiving the payment also the invoice.
