KDPW participates in the preparation and distribution to issuers of the list of shareholders who have declared their participation in the general meeting of a company whose shares are recorded in the depository system.
Information relating to the shareholder list is exchanged between the issuer and KDPW via the web application General Meeting.
Immediately after a general meeting is convened, the issuer records the corporate event in the online application and provides the details of the general meeting. This information is immediately transmitted to direct participants. Information is exchanged between KDPW and the participants using standardised electronic messages. Direct participants send to the depository system messages containing data of persons entitled to participate in the general meeting. KDPW makes available to the issuer, via a web application, the aggregate list of persons entitled to participate in the general meeting.
To facilitate general meetings, KDPW provides issuers with a dedicated IT system to handle participation and voting at general meetings using means of electronic communication (eVoting). This is an optional service, complementary to the service of preparing lists of shareholders for general meetings.
