KDPW: A 2008 IT Leader
The Polish National Depository for Securities (KDPW) has been named a 2008 IT Leader in the 12th edition of a competition organised by the Computerworld weekly. The award was presented at a gala ceremony to Mr Sławomir Panasiuk, KDPW Management Board Member responsible for IT system operation and development.
The IT Leader competition awards companies and institutions successful in IT processes. This years edition featured over 70 companies and institutions. The award is given in four main categories: Finance and Banking, Industry, Trade, Services and the Public Sector. KDPW was named the 2008 IT Leader in the Finance and Banking category.
The winners were chosen by an independent jury appointed by the magazine. The candidates were evaluated on the basis of four main criteria: organisational excellence, innovation, creating value through ITT, consistency between ITT and business goals of the company or institution.
