Number of Securities Accounts in 2025
KDPW publishes monthly data on the number of securities accounts maintained by banks and brokerage firms operating on the Polish market.
Banks and brokerage firms – KDPW participants maintained 2,534,606 securities accounts as at 31 December 2025. The number of accounts increased by over 564,000 in 2025 (by 243,000 in 2024).
Last year, the number of accounts crossed two symbolic marks for the first time: 2 and 2.5 million, as KDPW participants maintained 1,969,689 accounts at the end of 2024.
The first figures for 2025 are now in: the number of brokerage accounts crossed the mark of 2.6 million, reaching 2,615,239 in January.
Banks and brokerage firms report the number of securities accounts they maintain to KDPW on a monthly basis. The reports are published monthly on the KDPW Group's data portal at https://data.kdpw.pl/csd/f/number_securities_accounts.
