KDPW Reduces Fees Charged from Issuers
KDPW has reduced fees for disclosure of shareholder identification to companies holding general meetings. The fee for the service has been reduced by PLN 1,000 from PLN 2,500 to PLN 1,500. Issuers whose shares are recorded in KDPW will save approximately PLN 800 thousand.
The fee reduction is available from 1 April 2021 to 30 September 2021, which is when most general meetings take place.
“The KDPW Group is very serious about the needs of the market and its participants. In pursuit of our strategy of business expansion among others through revenue diversification and the development of new services, we regularly reduce fees charged from our members and offer temporary fee reductions to stimulate selected market segments. As a key institution of the capital market infrastructure, we endeavour to support market participants. With fee reductions and waivers we have offered in the last three years, our clients have saved close to PLN 26 million,” said KDPW President Maciej Trybuchowski.
In 2020 alone, KDPW offered 32 temporary fee reductions in order to support different groups of capital market participants.
The temporary reduction of fees for disclosure of shareholder identification to companies holding general meetings makes a positive environmental contribution as the reduction is available only to those issuers who accept KDPW’s electronic invoices, reducing overall paper consumption.
